Description

The Ghelfi JO diamond blade is designed for tilers and finishing professionals working on porcelain stoneware, ceramic tiles, and Dekton who need to perform 45° bevel cuts (mitre cuts) with an angle grinder without the use of water.

Its construction features a 25 mm wide double-sided diamond rim, which increases body rigidity and ensures excellent stability and control during cutting. In addition, the “soft” bond used in the diamond layer — built with a honeycomb-style structure — provides a smooth, precise, and continuous cut even on very hard materials such as porcelain stoneware.

Thanks to these characteristics, the blade is not limited to straight or 45° cuts: it also allows a light edge grinding of the tile. This is particularly useful for achieving cleaner finishes, ready for installation or grouting, saving an additional step compared to a traditional cutting blade.

Main Advantages

  • Clean and precise 45° bevel cuts, ideal for corners, edges, and exposed finishing details
  • Dry use: no need for water or cooling systems, making it more practical on-site and in both indoor/outdoor applications
  • Excellent stability and control thanks to the rigid body and engineered diamond layer
  • Ability to perform cut + edge refinement in a single operation, reducing time and workflow steps
  • Long service life even on hard materials such as porcelain stoneware

Suggested use

  • Use with an angle grinder compatible with 125 mm discs and 22.2 mm bore.
  • Ideal for producing 45° jolly cuts on ceramic and porcelain tiles: external corners, inclined edges, wall terminations, step transitions, thresholds, and similar applications.
  • Also suitable for finishing work where a clean, installation-ready edge is required without additional processing.
  • Since it is designed for dry cutting, always use proper protective equipment (goggles, gloves, dust mask) and work in well-ventilated areas where possible.
  • For best results: maintain a steady, controlled feed rate without forcing the blade. Let the diamond rim work naturally to achieve clean cuts and uniform edges.
